We are recruiting for a Board Director Level Role in a Private Label business focussed on the design and manufacture of Lingerie, Swimwear and Nightwear, selling to Brands and Retailers Worldwide.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Director, you’ll report directly to the COO and Board of Directors and lead a team of talented sales professionals. Your role will be crucial in shaping and executing a go-to-market strategy, optimizing the sales pipeline, and ensuring sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team.
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion into new territories.
  • Set and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) across sales operations.
  • Collaborate with the product development and supply teams to align on strategy.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Forecast sales revenue and manage budgets effectively.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with 3+ years in a leadership role.  Director Level experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

A vacancy has arisen for an Adults Nightwear Designer with character licencing experience. The company is based in the North West but will offer hybrid working for the right candidate. You will be: Ensure high service levels are provided and newness in design is given. Proficient in Adobe Software, including Illustrator and Photoshop. See concept designs through to production, working closely with buyers and factories to ensure the brief is met. Work closely with technologists and merchandisers, to ensure products fit and find solutions to any problems in production. A common interest/knowledge for Licensed Properties and product. Researching trends, and creating mood boards for new projects and seasons ahead. Collaborate with other creatives in the Design team to ensure a common vision and consistent branding across the business. Attending customer meetings and prepare for presentations. Creating exclusive designs, with awareness of cost and factory restrictions. Prepare design packs, including technical drawing and size specs. Thorough understanding of the current market and research of retailers to ensure handwriting is in line. Manage day to day work load, working closely with buyers and factories to ensure deadlines are met for samples and designs. My client is looking for a proactive Shipping Coordinator to manage the smooth flow of goods from global suppliers to the UK warehouse. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love keeping things moving, this could be your next big opportunity What You’ll Be Doing: Liaising with overseas suppliers and freight agents to ensure timely shipments. Checking purchase orders from merchandisers to keep freight on schedule. Managing bookings, tracking shipments, and negotiating freight rates. Logging shipping documents manually and in our in-house system. Ensuring styles ship on time and meet QC approval, resolving any issues. Senior Menswear Designer Leeds/Hybrid A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Menswear Designer to join a well-established client based in Leeds. In return for your experience and excellence you will receive a fantastic salary, hybrid working, flexi hours and travel opportunities. In this role you will be a key member of the design team. You will work closely with the menswear buyer, head of design and founder, to continually grow and develop the offer. You will need to be a proactive team player, contributing new ideas, tailored to the brand’s DNA. The role requires a high level of graphic and print ability, with good knowledge of different application techniques and strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills. Wider product knowledge is also important, as you will be required to develop across all menswear areas. You will be working directly with suppliers to develop seasonal designs, creating a good rapport, providing detailed techpacks and working directly with them on development trips. The role also involves managing any given deadlines and attending relevant sign off meetings. Branding handwriting is a key part of the role, so previous experience of working with a lifestyle brand would be beneficial, but you will also need to be aware of current market and forecast trends. Requirements • Provide a high level of awareness and knowledge on current and future trends and to use this enhance the design quality of the department. • Creating season themes that reflect current trends while maintaining handwriting and protecting brand territories. • Working and developing closely with the buying team. • Understanding and sourcing of new fabrics. • Strong Illustrator and photoshop skulls. • Develop graphics, embroideries and prints. • Work with suppliers to develop your designs and provide detailed techpacks. • Going on research and development trips. You should have experience of graphic and print design, a good technical knowledge of garment construction, fit and fabrication as well as a good eye for colour, detail and styling. You will have excellent Illustrator and Photoshop skills and an enthusiastic and adaptable approach with a highly organised and collaborative approach. You should hold a BA(Hons) degree certification or higher.
