Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and skilled New Business Development Executive who is motivated by identifying, pursuing, and securing new customers and business streams. In this role, you will be responsible for building new customer relationships and prospecting opportunities beyond the retail arena, where they already hold a strong market presence. You will consistently deliver outstanding customer service, using strong relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of customer needs to open doors to new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
• Take ownership of new business development volume targets
• Travel regularly to trade events, client meetings, and prospect sites across the UK (full driving licence required).
• Prospect new non-retail business sectors such as Promotional, Entertainment, Sport, Contract Printing, Print on Demand, Charity, Local Government Procurement, and Education/Workwear.
• Visit clients to present opportunities and represent at trade events.
• Maintain the CRM system, managing inbound enquiries and tracking both legacy and new opportunities.
• Build long-term, partnership-focused relationships with external partners, ensuring service excellence.
• Support marketing activity by contributing to the development of marketing materials.
• Grow performance within existing business by identifying product whitespace and new trading mechanisms.
• Identify priority sectors and build relationships to onboard new business channels.
• Manage account development against a structured list of key target accounts and support onboarding with the central team.
• Support team and sales initiatives, lead by example, and contribute to a positive company culture.
Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ new business development experience within a relevant industry.
• Confident, self-motivated, and driven, with proven ability to identify and close opportunities.
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally to meet clients and prospects.
• Strong communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver a compelling sales message.
• Customer-focused, target-driven, and committed to achieving high standards of service.
• Numerate, with the ability to analyse and utilise data effectively.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
• Full driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Take full responsibility for fit, technical standards, and quality expectations for assigned product categories, from first fit through to production.
• Lead and participate in weekly fit sessions alongside the Buying team, offering technical advice and recommending fit improvements.
• Measure, evaluate, and prepare fit samples; finalise specifications including grading using electronic tools.
• Clearly instruct suppliers on garment fit, construction, and quality expectations. Ensure all specs and quality standards are understood and maintained.
• Maintain a consistent fit aligned with the customer expectations. Conduct detailed quality assessments and identify areas for improvement.
• Raise and manage all specification sheets and ensure they align with critical path timelines.
• Review and interpret test reports, conduct risk assessments, and approve wash care instructions.
