We are recruiting a Merchandising Stock Administrator for a leading Retailer who are going through a huge period of growth. They are seeking a dedicated person to enhance their team.
Key Responsibilities
Make bookings with suppliers for intake across all WH locations
Collate & enter all packing list information onto systems ahead of deliveries
Advise all WH locations of planned deliveries, along with any supporting documentation
Ensure all planned deliveries are received into all systems in a timely & accurate manner
Maintain WH locations in system, ensuring that all stock is moved into pickable locations, to maximise distribution across all channels
Candidate Requirements
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
A proactive approach to problem-solving and inventory management
Must possess Excel skills
Numerate
A related Degree or a minimum of 1 years' experience in retail merchandising

We are looking for a Junior Garment Technologist to work alongside the team, to improve fit and work with suppliers to improve quality.
You will:
• Conduct fit sessions for own product area making commercial decisions with confidence; owning the fitting process and inspiring trust and confidence from colleagues and suppliers.
• Sending clear, concise and accurate comments to suppliers; processing samples in a timely and agile manner, in line with KPI’s.
• Liaising with designer and suppliers to offer technical guidance on new product development with the aim of reducing costs and improving quality.
• Ensuring compliance with product safety and reach legislation; assessing risk, advising on relevant testing; recording and resolving non-compliance effectively and efficiently.
• Always promoting quality, whilst maintaining a strong commercial attitude.
About you:
• Previous experience at Assistant Tech level within a similar role in a fast-paced environment is essential
• A technically oriented qualification, preferably at degree level, is essential
• Confident and assertive individual
• Comprehensive understanding of fitting and fit issues is essential
• Pattern cutting knowledge and practise is very desirable alongside knowledge of grading and grade rules
• Experience of working directly with factories, and thorough understanding of factory production, including work-flow and production control
• First class communication skills
• Able to meet new challenges with a positive attitude
• Strong time-management skills; able to prioritise tasks and change direction with agility
• Confident using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word

This senior role will take accountability for maximising category performance through strategic range and stock planning for seasonal collections. Working with the wider merchandising team to ensure smooth production placement & intake planning. Responsibilities
• Recommend product range structures, including option count and range depth, through data analytics.
• Review sales and forecast future demand for all sales channels, planning the order volumes to achieve sales budgets.
• Responsible for demand planning seasonal collections lines within the business, meeting availability targets & working with product teams to ensure commercial exit strategies.
• Provide forward visibility of stock intake & inventory holding reports.
• Review in-season stock opportunities and stock-out risks ensuring category profitability is maximised.
• Ensure merchandising calendar and critical path deadlines are met to achieve stock delivery on time in full, providing forecast information to achieve where needed.

Experience and Skills:
• Previous experience within a similar role for an Apparel business.

They are a small friendly team working across a wide variety of textile products ranging from sleepwear, filled goods and textile accessories. Our client is part of a large corporation turning over $500million across a global platform over the last 20 years.
We are looking for an individual to support the team and buyers, with particular reference to account administration and market research. In time you could look to manage some of the accounts independently.
Duties include:
Following the sealing process, monitoring samples, checking packaging and testing in line with the critical path.
Sample tracking with our China merchandisers and feeding this back to the buying teams, as well as chasing tech reports and sometime shipping updates.
Ensuring tracker spreadsheets and sample bought lists are kept up to date.
Arranging couriers and managing photo samples
Being market aware and attending and recording comparative competitive research.
Attending customer meetings and trade shows when required.
Drive to visit stores for research purposes.
Work across multi-disciplinary products and teams, sometimes multi-tasking across different products daily.
Confidently convey product knowledge and pricing to retail buyers with the support of the sales manager.
Ideal candidate:
Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook, experience in use of Zoom and Microsoft teams

Handling all fit sessions and comments
Risk assessment of all products for safety, compliance to global legislations, fabric and trim suitability in relation to construction and functionality
Providing notes, comments and diagrams on workbooks, sending to suppliers on daily basis, at proto and production stage
Ensuring consistency of fit and grading across multiple products in Womenswear
Keeping Critical Path up to date
Assisting with the review of submissions sent from the factories including bulk fabric and print submissions
You will have:
A minimum of 4 years' experience within Ladieswear
A degree or equivalent in clothing technology or manufacture/fashion
Must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, have attention to detail & be a strong team player
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to communicate and interact with internal and external business partners across UK, Europe and the Rest of the World
Knowledge of Vetigraph and Gerber pattern cutting, grading and construction would be advantageous
