We are looking for a talented and creative Kids Licensed Graphic Designer for our client based in Cheshire. This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about creating imaginative, playful and age appropriate design’s for children’s nightwear, daywear and swimwear including cross category collections. The successful candidate will work closely with the licensing team to incorporate well known licensed characters and properties that resonate with kids and their parents.

Key Responsibilities:
Create compelling, age appropriate graphic designs for a variety of products
targeted at children (apparel, nightwear, swimwear)
Work with licensed character’s, brands an intellectual properties to ensure designs meet licensing guidelines and standards.
Keep up to date with the latest design trends, kids pop culture and preferences to ensure that designs stay relevant.
Create seasonal trend packs as well as flash trends throughout the seasons using digital platforms as well as regular comp shopping.
Collaborate with Marketing, Design and Sales teams to ensure designs align with product strategies.
Revise designs based on feedback from clients and internal teams
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
About you:
Experience in designing Apparel, multi product for kids.
Knowledge of intellectual property and licensing processes.
Experience with print production, manufacturing limitations and digital design
Familiarity with copyright laws related to children’s content.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/ Surface Pattern, Illustration , or a related filed (or equivalent work experience)
Proven experience with a portfolio showcasing design work for children’s products or licensing.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
Experience working with licensed content and adhering to brand guidelines.
Understanding of trend’s in children’s entertainment and design.
Ability to create fun, engaging and creative visuals that appeal to younger audiences.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a self-motivated proactive individual with knowledge in sleepwear product and graphic design to work alongside a senior sleepwear designer. You will work collaboratively with our UK retail buyers and China merchandising team to deliver a seamless product development process to key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Trend and regular design /retail research.
Designing innovative, functional, attractive, and commercial products.
Fully engaged in the complete design process, from designing concepts, including working on briefs.
Hold a knowledge of fabric, construction applicable to knit, woven fabrications.
Make sure collections meet partner brand guidelines in line with internal critical paths.
Working closely with China development team to make sure product specifications are adhered to and products are delivered within costs.
Attending regular meetings regarding designs, and a strong understanding of the current high street, trends and the ability to look forward and anticipate new trends.
Design seasonal capsule collections along with key shapes, colour palettes and fabric direction, with a strong commercial handwriting.
Researching customer demographic and being proactive to try and gain new and additional business.
Occasional overseas research and factory visits.
Help identify key opportunities and the latest trends on product.
Supporting customers deadlines and requests when needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 3-5 years' experience as a Designer in sleepwear/ fashion retail business.
Strong Adobe (particularly Illustrator) and CAD skills.
The ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and appropriately with colleagues and buyers at all levels.
Have a strong eye for trends, colour and good attention to detail.
A relevant Fashion/Textile Design degree.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Self-motivation & enthusiasm, able to work towards tight deadlines.
A strong understanding of the current high street, trends and the ability to look forward and anticipate new trends.
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Strong on computer programs including Adobe and Illustrator.
Willingness to travel abroad.
Good communication skills and a confident presenter.
A hands-on can-do attitude, someone who is innovative, who can inspire others.

The role will involve the following:
Developing branding packs and badge logos.
Jersey graphic prints for t-shirt and fleece.
Creating repeat patterns for shirts and swimwear.

Working to customer briefs to present relevant collections that satisfy their colour and style direction.

You will have:
Minimum of 5 years pattern cutting experience
Confident working 3-dimensionally on the stand as well as developing patterns digitally
Additional advantage would be some GERBER experience
Excellent technical knowledge of garment construction
Excellent understanding of sizing and fitting
Excellent attention to detail
Multi-product experience with an emphasis on dresses and occasionalwear
Excellent communication skills
Great logical and proactive approach to problem solving
Luxury / Premium fashion experience
Additional High Street experience is preferred but not essential
