This role requires a creative individual with strong technical knowledge of knitwear, along with the ability to manage client relationships and provide strategic direction for orders without handling every operational detail. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop knitwear collections based on seasonal trends and client requirements Create mood boards, colour palettes, and technical sketches Select appropriate yarns, stitches, and techniques to achieve the desired aesthetics and functionality Oversee sampling and collaborate with factories to ensure production feasibility Research market trends and innovations to enhance product offerings Provide strategic direction on orders and ensure smooth coordination between design, production, and merchandising teams Requirements: Experience: 4+ years knitwear design Strong knowledge of yarns, knitting techniques, pattern making and garment construction Software Proficiency: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools Understanding of knitwear trends and manufacturing processes

There is now an opportunity to join this fantastic company as a Graphic Designer on the Menswear department. The role will involve the following: Developing branding packs and badge logos. Jersey graphic prints for t-shirt and fleece. Creating repeat patterns for shirts and swimwear. Christmas character graphics and more sophisticated Christmas graphics working alongside our knitwear team. Working to customer briefs to present relevant collections that satisfy their colour and style direction. Adjusting graphic artwork based on customer comments for selection. Creating technical packs with colourway options for initial sample development and fine tuning for production. Creating profiles for ordered styles on our PLMS system for orders to be raised by our merchandise department. Liaising with suppliers by email. Presenting trend. The ideal candidate should be a Graphic designer with a minimum of two years’ experience working on menswear ideally within the supply / import industry.

You will make effective and commercially focused buying decisions to buy product across ladieswear under the management and supervision of your Senior Buyer. As a Junior Buyer you should be highly motivated, with technical flair, excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude. Ideally with 12-24 months experience in a similar role. Responsibilities: Completes all processes with reference to daily/weekly sales, as well as longer term plans. Reporting and effectively communicate all key information in trading meeting to Buyer and Directors. Generate ideas and suggestion to impact the business with reference to promotions and mark downs. Provides SWOT analysis on designated categories. Monitors and maintains stocks as per KPI’s set and manages open to buy accordingly. Responds to competitor analysis. Support your Senior Buyer to develop new strategies for the business and department. Complete buying trips as and when needed. You will have: The candidate should be proficient at working on the OPTITEX system and an advantage would be some experience working 3D Minimum of 5 years pattern cutting experience Confident working 3-dimensionally on the stand as well as developing patterns directly on OPTITEX Additional advantage would be some GERBER experience Excellent technical knowledge of garment construction Excellent understanding of sizing and fitting Excellent attention to detail Multi-product experience with an emphasis on dresses and occasionwear Excellent communication skills Great logical and proactive approach to problem solving Luxury / Premium fashion experience Additional High Street experience is preferred but not essential
