Encore Recruitment started with this belief: people stay, grow, and contribute when they feel part of something real.

After 20 years in fashion recruitment, our founder, Lucy Ratoff, saw the same thing: great people leaving roles they once loved. Why? Because they lost their sense of connection.

That’s when she knew this was the problem. So, in October 2020, she founded Encore Recruitment to help solve it.

Encore is built on one order of priority: people first, relationships second, and business third.

It’s not just about filling roles, and it’s not about us. It’s about connecting people who could work well together and build something that lasts. We believe that matters.

We also believe businesses should give back. That’s why we donate 2% of our revenue to social and environmental causes through 1% for the Planet. This matters too.
