Our Recommendation Standard

Encore Recruitment finds and recommends people for roles across fashion and lifestyle.

Our Recommendation Standard sets out what we require of ourselves before recommending an opportunity to a candidate and a candidate to a client.

Anyone recruiting on behalf of Encore Recruitment works to this Standard.

What We Require Before Making a Recommendation

Understanding Clients and Candidates

Before we make a recommendation, we have spoken to the client and candidate and understand both in relation to the opportunity we are considering.

Relevant information forms part of that understanding. We do not make recommendations from data alone.

Basis for Recommendation

We only recommend when what we know and understand gives us reason to believe there is potential for the client and candidate to work together.

Recommending the Opportunity First

Where there is an identified opportunity, we recommend it to the candidate before recommending the candidate to the client.

This applies whether it is a role they applied for or another opportunity we identify.

Candidate Consent and Representation

We do not identify, submit or represent a candidate to a client without their knowledge and agreement.

Where there is no identified role and we see reason for a proactive client approach, the candidate agrees to that approach before we make it.

When We Do Not Recommend

If these requirements have not been met, we do not make the recommendation.
