Responsibilities Creating original graphics, prints for apparel collections Researching new fashion and graphics trends and developing mood boards and trend packs Designing full graphic and jersey ranges to fit customer briefs Creating technical packs for artworks and styles to send to factories. Liaising with our international teams to ensure artworks and designs are translated accurately into finished products. Collaborate with other shape and graphic designers in the team to ensure graphics compliment garment shapes and collection themes Organising samples and artworks Required skills and experience Degree level qualification in Graphic Design, Fashion Graphics, Textile Design Around 5 years' experience in a similar fashion graphic design role. Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop. A strong commercial eye for women’s, men’s and childrenswear UK fashion Good knowledge of print techniques- some knowledge of jersey is preferable Strong typography, illustration, and layout skills. Some experience working with license designs and agencies Proactive and self-motivated, with good communication and collaboration skills Organised with excellent time management. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, prioritising workload and meeting deadlines Experience working with overseas factories

There is now an opportunity to join this fantastic company as an Import Merchandiser You will be: Work closely with customers and our Sales Team, on UK, European and Middle Eastern contract accounts, whilst also playing an integral role within the Merchandise Team, managing both customer contracts and orders for our stock range. · Handle costings for development styles that have generated customer interest. · Raise orders on our in-house PLMS system. · Manage the critical path for your contract orders. · Liaise with all teams including Sales, Account Managers, Shipping, Design and Garment Technologists to ensure the smooth running of the critical path. · Where relevant, order or send out labelling and packaging to suppliers. · Manage press and photography sample requirements for customer orders. · Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence resolving customer and supplier queries. · Generate progress reports You will have: 5 years of experience of working in a similar role. Buyers Admin Assistant Birmingham We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buying Admin Assistant to join a dynamic team. You will be responsible for providing administration support to the Buying team and ensuring that all aspects of the buying process are running smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong organisational skills, have a keen eye for detail and have a relevant degree in Fashion. Duties Order Management • Use of internal software to Input and update weekly purchase orders. • Action any order amendments under direction of the B&M team. Critical Path Management • Managing critical path information with the suppliers (sending template and chasing updated information). • Using Critical path to ensure timely delivery of stock into the Warehouse, highlighting any possible risks and reasons for delays to the B&M team on outstanding samples/approvals. • Managing approval process, chasing suppliers for Buying samples/Outstanding approvals/fit samples, filing accordingly. Trading Information • Preparing weekly and seasonal analysis (Traffic light documents). • Ensuring preparation for Trade Meeting. • Creating and updating ‘New in’ competitive analysis. • Creating and updating Benchmarking information. • Creating and updating departmental trend and product research. • Monthly comp shop/store visits with report. Sample Management • Creating and chasing sample tracker from all suppliers. • Processing samples received (fits, development, shoots/meetings). • Labelling, logging organizing and filing samples including press and bought. • Collating and preparing meeting samples. • Preparing samples for fit meetings and recording fit notes. Administrative Support • Receiving, sending and logging in/out post accordingly. • Dealing with telephone, email queries. • Dealing with department queries, both internally and externally. • Supplier/Meetings minute taking and distributions. Key experience, skills and abilities; • Strong understanding of fashion trends and knowledge of the high street. • Excellent communication and team working skills with the ability to adapt. • Able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines. • Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, word and Outlook.

Work closely with technologists and merchandisers, to ensure products fit and find solutions to any problems in production. Researching trends, and creating mood boards for new projects and seasons ahead. Collaborate with other creatives in the Design team to ensure a common vision and consistent branding across the business. Attending customer meetings and prepare for presentations. Design to a brief and amend as buyer requests, display experience of liaising with buyers requests and demands. Creating exclusive designs, with awareness of cost and factory restrictions. Prepare design packs, including technical drawing and size specs. Thorough understanding of the current market and research of retailers to ensure handwriting is in line. Manage day to day work load, working closely with buyers and factories to ensure deadlines are met for samples and designs. Develop new products with the factories from research, requesting new fabrics and embellishments. Reasonable travel, including factory visits and regular comparative shopping in the UK and overseas.
