We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Designer to join this excellent company, it is an opportunity for an ambitious designer to join a fast-paced and fast-growing company with plenty of room for personal development.
The Role:
- Working alongside account manager.
- Liaising with customers to take seasonal briefs and handle 3rd party brand development projects.
- Hold meetings with customers alongside account manager.
- Review brand requirements for upcoming season.
- Requesting, reviewing and checking customer tech packs.
- Creating tech packs where needed.
- Producing range planners.
- Preparing development packs for suppliers.
- Taking design brief from 3rd party customers.
- Producing cads and tech packs according to customer requirements.
- Briefing suppliers and providing required information for sample development, bulk production packs.
- Follow sample process and liaise with suppliers.
- Review samples on arrival with garment tech team and account manager, presenting samples and comments to customers / supplier.
- Working alongside account manager to keep critical path flowing.
Inhouse License Brand:
- Taking the lead on design and development on multi product brand.
- Create seasonal direction.
- Liaise with director and account manager to create collection structure / option count.
- Lead the design and development process from concept to final tech packs.
- Liaise with tech team on specs.
- Liaise with Account Manager to create range plan, brief collection and liaise with supply base.
- Carry out approvals / comments with team, taking the lead.
- Creating sales books / look books.
- Involvement in direction of seasonal campaign shoots and social media alongside marketing team.
About you:
- Previous experience is essential 4 years minimum in a similar role.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Good commercial perspective & creativity skills.
- Strong organizational & time management skills.
- Flexible and open to evolving business needs and priorities.
- Keen fashion interest.

We are currently looking for a Garment Technologist to join our clients busy head office team. Our client is a leading supplier of children’s and adults character apparel to the leading high street, supermarkets and online retailers, working with factories in Turkey, China, India and Bangladesh.
The Role:
Responsibility of working with a number of retailers – aiming for a right first-time approach.
Creating workbooks/specs for costings and buying samples
Requesting of sealing samples and initial patterns, from offshore manufacturers. Measuring and checking of garments, internal approvals where necessary samples fitted with retailers in person or over VC, and sending comments out to the factories.
Working closely with the factories to ensure that the product meets Retailer & Legal requirements, and necessary risk assessments are carried out.
Administration of the critical path
Submission of final production samples and relevant documentation.
Creating print patterns on Optitex for the design team to set up print packs
Working on Optitex 3D to create patterns for design and development
About you:
We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team, with a positive attitude.
Confident and clear communication skills, both verbal and written, with manufacturers, retailers and within the office environment.
Someone who is well organised and flexible, with a logical and analytical mind, and excellent administration skills
Someone who works well under pressure, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
Full driving licence is essential.
Knowledge of 3D software, ie Optitex/ Browzwear/ CLO, would be advantageous, training can be provided
2-3 years’ experience in a related area
Willing to travel to retailers for fittings.

Responsibilities
Creating original graphics, prints for apparel collections
Researching new fashion and graphics trends and developing mood boards and trend packs
Designing full graphic and jersey ranges to fit customer briefs
Creating technical packs for artworks and styles to send to factories.
Liaising with our international teams to ensure artworks and designs are translated accurately into finished products.
Collaborate with other shape and graphic designers in the team to ensure graphics compliment garment shapes and collection themes
Organising samples and artworks
Required skills and experience
Degree level qualification in Graphic Design, Fashion Graphics, Textile Design
Around 5 years' experience in a similar fashion graphic design role.
Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
A strong commercial eye for women’s, men’s and childrenswear UK fashion
Good knowledge of print techniques- some knowledge of jersey is preferable
Strong typography, illustration, and layout skills.
Some experience working with license designs and agencies
Proactive and self-motivated, with good communication and collaboration skills
Organised with excellent time management.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, prioritising workload and meeting deadlines
Experience working with overseas factories
