About the Role
Senior Designer - Jersey

This role is responsible for managing the design process from concept to production, ensuring that collections are innovative, on-trend, and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of garment construction, excellent multi-disciplinary design skills, and a proven track record of developing successful products. This role works cross-functionally with key departments, including sales, merchandising and garment technology, to drive commercial success as well as supporting and mentoring more junior members of the design team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Research and identify current and emerging trends, including styles, colours, yarns, and techniques.
- Lead the development of original designs, including sketches, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Create seasonal collections that align with the brand's aesthetic and target market.
- Select appropriate techniques for each design.
- Liaise confidently with overseas offices on sampling & sourcing to meet customer deadlines
- Approve final line-ups, ensuring product range aligns with customer needs and commercial objectives
- Evaluate market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to drive future design strategies and direction
- Oversee collection planning, ensuring design workstreams align with critical path and business priorities
- Mentor and develop junior designers, providing guidance on both creative and technical aspects
- Collaborate with senior members (Account managers, Head of Design and Garment Tech) to align creative direction
- React strategically to trade and performance feedback, driving quick-turn updates or edits to enhance sell-through
- Regularly attend customer meetings to present design concepts & samples & communicate with buying teams to ensure we are fulfilling their objectives
Your talent:
- 5+ Years experience, preferably working on the supplier side, however not essential
- Previous multi-disciplinary design experience
- Adobe Illustrator proficient
- Strong construction knowledge with practical understanding of cost drivers and a commercial eye when selecting fabrics
- Comfortable leading conversations & presenting trends to customers
- Portfolio examples of tech packs / artworks
- Experience liaising with overseas offices to manage sample development.
- Willing to travel UK & overseas

We are looking for a talented and creative Kids Licensed Graphic Designer. This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about creating imaginative, playful and age-appropriate designs for children’s nightwear, daywear and swimwear including cross category collections. The successful candidate will work closely with the licensing team to incorporate well known licensed characters and properties that resonate with kids and their parents.
Key Responsibilities
Create compelling, age- appropriate graphic designs for a variety of products targeted at children (apparel, nightwear, swimwear).
Work with licensed character’s, brands an intellectual property to ensure designs meet licensing guidelines and standards.
Keep up to date with the latest design trends, kids pop culture and preferences to ensure that designs stay relevant.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/ Surface Pattern, Illustration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in Merchandising and Account Management to play a key role within a close-knit company. Key Responsibilities:
A pivotal role for a key team member who oversees the Merchandising side of the business.
Working with a team of designers and Garment Technologists,
Nurture and manage various customer accounts from concept to delivery.
Engage with customers to hold regular meetings, take seasonal briefs and maintain / grow current business.
Work with design and tech teams to create concept to be presented to customers.
Oversee production of collection and brief out to supply base in conjunction with design and tech teams, while controlling the critical path for seasonal development.
Negotiate prices with suppliers.
Monitor and manage sample trackers / sample development leadtimes.
Present collections to customers in conjunction with directors / design team.
Place POs and manage Order Summary.
Maintain and manage CP with regular communication with suppliers and customers on a weekly basis.

Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as a Merchandiser/Account Manager within the apparel sector.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
