We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Pattern Cutter for a leading Retailer who are going through a huge period of growth. My client has a strong identity as a design led and fashion forward retailer. Their business is fast paced, exciting and aspirational, with passion and enthusiasm reflected in the brand.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join an established business.
The right candidate will be joining an enthusiastic team and must be highly skilled on the technical aspect as well as having great creative flair.
You will have:
- Minimum of 5 years pattern cutting experience
- Confident working 3-dimensionally on the stand as well as developing patterns digitally
- Additional advantage would be some GERBER experience
- Excellent technical knowledge of garment construction
- Excellent understanding of sizing and fitting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Multi-product experience with an emphasis on dresses and occasionalwear
- Excellent communication skills
- Great logical and proactive approach to problem solving
- Luxury / Premium fashion experience
- Additional High Street experience is preferred but not essential

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Garment Technologist to take ownership of garment approval from development through to production.
This is a key technical position within the business responsible for ensuring product fit, quality and consistency across knitwear and jerseywear.
You will be responsible for:
• Leading fit sessions and managing fit comments with clarity and authority
• Owning garment specifications and grading accuracy
• Ensuring consistency between approved samples and bulk production
• Managing technical communication with overseas factories
• Identifying construction risks before production
• Resolving quality issues quickly and commercially
• Working closely with Design, Sales and Production teams

• Strong experience in jerseywear (knitwear experience preferable)
• Excellent understanding of garment construction, grading and tolerances
• Confident leading fit meetings independently

About the Role
We are seeking a Full-Time Fit Model (Size 78 / UK 8) to support our clients Garment Technology and Product Development teams. This is not a photographic or catwalk role — it is a hands-on, technical position where you will help ensure the garments fit, feel, and perform exactly as intended before they go into production.
You will work closely with garment technologists during daily/regular fitting sessions, trying on sample garments and providing feedback on comfort, movement, and overall fit.
Key Responsibilities
Attend regular on-site fit sessions with the Garment Technologist
Wear and test first samples, SMS, PP samples, and production garments
Provide clear, constructive feedback on comfort and mobility
Maintain consistent body measurements
Support fittings across multiple product categories (jersey, woven, tailoring, outerwear and swim etc.)
Participate in measurement checks as required
What We Are Looking For
Consistent body measurements aligned with the above
Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
Ability to stand for extended fitting sessions
Comfort being measured and trying on garments in front of a technical team
Previous fit model experience is beneficial but not essential
Strong communication skills and comfort giving honest, clear feedback

To ensure accuracy in our fit process, candidates must meet the following body measurements:
Bust: ~78 cm
Waist: ~60–62 cm
Hip: ~84–87 cm
Height: Ideally 165–173 cm (5'5"–5'8")

You will work on a wide range of childrenswear and babywear products including daywear, coats, swimwear, pyjama's etc.
Role includes -
Measuring and fitting children's garments from first sales sample through to production.
Excel based workbooks used to record measurements and comments.
Knowledge of grading for creating size specifications.
Care label layout checking from factories.
Checking and storing of test reports submitted by factories.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior Garment Technologist, with childrenswear experience and experience of managing / mentoring other team members.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-driven Warehouse QC Garment Technologist. You will be responsible for checking inbound goods to ensure all products meet company quality standards, technical specifications, and customer expectations before being moved into stock. This role is key to protecting brand reputation and ensure the highest-quality garments to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect inbound deliveries to ensure garments meet approved specifications, size measurements, fabric standards, and finishing requirements.
Check product quality against sealed samples, gold seals, and approved tech packs.
Accurately record and report any faults, damages, or non-conformance issues to the Garment tech Manager and Buying manager
Work closely with suppliers, warehouse, and buying teams to resolve any quality issues quickly and effectively.
Maintain accurate QC records, reports, and tracking of all inspections carried out.
Support the warehouse team in quarantining and escalating non-compliant stock.
Ensure all QC checks are completed in line with company processes and deadlines.
Carry out random spot checks of stock to monitor consistency of quality.
Assist in updating QC guidelines and continuously improving inspection processes.
Promote best practice in product handling, garment care, and compliance with company standards.
QC check on high returns styles
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience in a QC / garment technologist role, ideally within fashion or apparel.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and finishing standards.
Excellent eye for detail with the ability to spot even minor defects.
Confident using measurement tools and working to garment specifications.
Good communication skills to report issues clearly and effectively.
Organised, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within warehouse and head office functions.
Basic IT skills (Excel, reporting systems).
