We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Product Developer to join a team in a newly created role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong Ladieswear product development experience, a passion for innovation, and an exceptional eye for detail.

As a Senior Product Developer, you will play a key role in transforming creative concepts into commercially successful products. Working closely with the Design team, you will manage the end-to-end product development process, ensuring collections are delivered on time, within quality standards, and aligned with the brand vision.

  

Responsibilities

  • Follow the product development process from their first sketch through to SMS and final handover to the technical team, ensuring design intent is realised.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, communicating clearly and negotiating where necessary to meet price points, without compromising on quality or design integrity.
  • Monitor and prioritise workload to the Design Calendar and Critical Path. Ensure sampling for design meetings, key market presentations, and SMS meet quality expectations and delivered on time.
  • Create detailed technical drawings, BOMs, and development packs, ensuring all technical specs and costings meet targets.
  • Complete and set colour standard paperwork for all products. Create detailed bills of materials (BOM) and relevant costing information for factories.
  • Collaborate with design to ensure design samples are made and ready for all design reviews and range sign off meetings. Organising lab dips where needed and arranging dye bags with the colour technician
  • Partner with the technical throughout the fit process to ensure original design vision is upheld while considering brand standards for fit, performance, and integrity. Highlight any necessary changes to the wider team.
  • Deal with Design, garment & fabric technicians to risk-assess each style, ensuring suitability for production. Proactively identify and manage potential issues and help resolve any challenges that arise during the production process.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal departments to ensure alignment to internal critical path and business needs are met efficiently.

The Sales Account Manager will actively contribute to the team's objectives, support commercial goals, and assist in driving the organisation's growth in accordance with the overall business strategy. Key Accountabilities/Primary Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and suppliers. Acquire new business with potential future customers, further develop and retain business with existing customers. Organise and attend new and existing customer meetings throughout the UK to maximise sales opportunities. Develop customer account plans and strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets. The Role We are looking for a Senior Knitwear Designer with strong commercial awareness and a passion for product development. This role will work closely with in-house sample unit, customers and overseas factories to develop knitwear collections from concept through to production.
